Facelifts : temporal brow lift- Cannes & Nice | Dr. Victor Médard de Chardon
What is the purpose of a temporal brow lift?
A temporal brow lift rejuvenates the face by improving the signs associated with ageing of the temple region. A temporal brow lift does not aim to modify the features but to reposition the anatomical structures, in particular the tips of the eyebrow, back to where they were several years earlier. A temporal brow lift raises the external part of the eyebrow, smoothes out crow's feet, treats slackening of the temporal skin and brightens up the eye area.
What are the procedures that can be combined with a temporal brow lift?
Temporal brow lift technique
The scar from the temporal brow lift is 4 cm long and is concealed inside the hairline
The vector tension of the temporal brow lift is vertical and enables a repositioning of the eyebrow
The post-operative effects of a temporal brow lift are usually uncomplicated
Same-day discharge in the evening or the following day with no dressing
No or very little pain but a feeling of discomfort or tension in the temple area
Oedema (frequent): lasts for several days
You can wash your hair from the day after the procedure
The result of a temporal brow lift is natural (repositioning of the anatomical structures to a more "youthful" position). However, the lifespan of a temporal brow lift is lower than that of a face lift and neck lift and must be combined with botox to maintain its result.
